The fact that BP and our government conspired to cover up the true damage by lying and keeping secrets is an ongoing conspiracy to defraud us (the American people) of the facts.

Conspiracy is not a theory, it is an act.windcatcherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01472629221573977747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-53246864840716464.post-70581252980928413202010-09-23T21:41:04.200-07:002010-09-23T21:41:04.200-07:00Did you read this?

The data does not include the "smaller" vents, just the broken pipe.

It's published at Science magazine.Majuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12369840391933337204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-53246864840716464.post-50600404792991878872010-09-23T20:49:08.354-07:002010-09-23T20:49:08.354-07:00I am not a conspiracy theory believer in general. ...I am not a conspiracy theory believer in general. I'm an academic and trained in the scientific method. However, there are a lot of loose ends in the Macondo story and I don't believe the official narrative.

My own reading of the NOA reports found major methane seeps graphed near the Macondo well. Dr. Bea reported in your interview that major methane seeps were not located near the well prior to the drilling.
[ link to my post on the NOA report http://majiasblog.blogspot.com/2010/07/bp-oil-is-there-2nd-major-leak.html ]

If the stories reported at Florida Oil Spill Law are accurate, corexit spraying may be ongoing. Why?

It is possible that newly oiled beaches are resulting from upwellings (as is speculated as the case in Florida). However, if upwellings are occurring, they simply give credence to claims made by fisherman and scientsts that oil permeates the U.S. Gulf Coast region, contrary to official "all clear" signals.

Government efforts to trivialize fish kills in LA and reports of oiled beaches, crab, and shrimp across the US Gulf Coast make me doubt all official claims.

Why was Matt Simmons going on and on about the ocean floor being fractured? Had he simply lost his mind or is there more to the story?

I believe that a well was capped, but I am very unclear as to whether the major source(s) of the oil have been truly contained.

If the ocean floor was fractured, oil and methane leaks are likely to be an ongoing problem (as noted by WB above)Majia's Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04941091700194936591noreply@blogger.com
