When all the facts are laid out this is the most dangerous costly form of energy.
Fukushima is unstable and very much still a huge threat to all life on this planet, it should be a top global concern.
Nebraska, why did they exactly closed the airspace over the plant and why a news blackout?
The nuclear industry it's too big to fail and is failing and we are only at the beginning of its fall. Brace yourself for more catastrophes as the weather becomes more violent and volatile.emiliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14839945080404640010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-53246864840716464.post-33779498715808679302011-06-19T04:17:44.497-07:002011-06-19T04:17:44.497-07:00How about the Hanford, Washington site? Although the site is shut down now, it is still under emergency management and clean up procedures, with at least 1/3 of its storage tanks leaking into the groundwater that feeds the Columbia River at any given time. The leaking from the site is still so bad that they are considering the experimental vitrification process in an effort to stop the radioactive contamination for good. They don't know what else to do. This place has been leaking for decades.
A huge swathe of land is fenced off from the public, considered unsafe for human habitation into the infinite future.
Check out this overview:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanford_Site
and note particularly the sections entitled "Environmental Concerns" and "Clean Up Era".
Nobody talks about this place. Someone should.terihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08188228402716085873noreply@blogger.com
