Maybe not as soon as we want, but eventually all the same. <BR/><BR/>For these and other reasons, I do not think that taking down politicians will restore trust, faith, optimism, etc. in the people, in the economy, in our country. People need to have a change of heart - nay, a change of mind - before we can ever hope to stem the tide of corrupt, unprincipled, inhumane thugs now known as politicians. <BR/><BR/>Removing a negative does not by itself create a positive. All it does is create a vacuum. We - as a country - need to have a crystal clear idea of the alternative we seek, in positive, constructive, principled terms. Otherwise we'll stamp out one cockroach at a time out on the lawn, and never raise a finger against their breeding grounds.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
