There have been standing PCB and mercury advisories for the Neches River and Galveston Bay for years. The following links show a mercury advisory for all Texas coastal waters.

Texas plays it fast and loose with environmental regulation.

http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/faq/fishboat/fish/pcbfaq.phtml

http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/publications/annual/fish/consumption_bans/A Southern Gentlemanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02262063524394846703noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-53246864840716464.post-53862030907437426942010-08-15T20:24:06.387-07:002010-08-15T20:24:06.387-07:00Does biodegradability include ingestion by the foo...Does biodegradability include ingestion by the food chain? Corexit may also bind to or interact with other toxic chemicals present in the Gulf of Mexico, which may change the degree of biodegradability.

Its really just a great big lab experiment at this point. Do you want to be a test subject?

Just one more in a long line of chemical disasters hidden by the press and government in the United States.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10684341974394872301noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-53246864840716464.post-34086216238599987722010-08-15T12:33:44.756-07:002010-08-15T12:33:44.756-07:00Like they say about airline flights and food... &#...Like they say about airline flights and food...
