"If You Want Total Security, Go to Prison"
President and General Dwight Eisenhower said:
If you want total security, go to prison. There you're fed, clothed, given medical care and so on. The only thing lacking... is freedom.

Good point. One problem. That's only true of prisons in a free society. Prison in a corrupt society - well, corrupt countries torture people, kill them, and stuff. (Like the USA does now.) So, once a nation gives up freedom and the whole place becomes a prison - one can be tortured, murdered, and loses all rights in that prison of a country.)
