72% of Democrats, 84% of Republicans and 80% of Independents Think the Economy Could Collapse
A new national telephone poll conducted by Opinion Dynamics Corp. for Fox News concludes:
Most American voters believe it’s possible the nation’s economy could collapse, and majorities don’t think elected officials in Washington have ideas for fixing it.
The latest Fox News poll finds that 79 percent of voters think it’s possible the economy could collapse, including large majorities of Democrats (72 percent), Republicans (84 percent) and independents (80 percent).
Unfortunately, it already has, although Bernanke, Summers and Geithner are still trying to hide that fact.
One more time, from the top ...
Consumer spending accounts for the lion's share of the economic activity. The economy cannot recover until trust is restored. Trust won't be restored until the fraud actually stops, the criminals are prosecuted, and the fox is fired from his role as chicken coop guard.

Never thought I'd say this, but I have faith in the American people. They're not totally oblivious to what is going, despite the massive media propaganda and the compulsive cunning by Republicratic politicians.
ReplyDeleteI gotta say, it appears that poll was constructed with pretty extreme bias.
ReplyDeleteIf I ask along the gist of:
"Is the US economy so big and strong it will never collapse?"
vs
"Do you think the US economy will collapse ?"
The results would be very different.
I'm not saying *I* don't think the economy will collapse. But I don't think that poll is very meaningful.
They'd be out of their jobs if they admitted it and their careers would be over. There's no incentive whatsoever to really fix the economy.
ReplyDeleteNice. Keep 'em coming. Love the blog and link your posts almost nightly.
ReplyDeleteCollapse?
ReplyDeleteNo one here has a clue.
How many of those being polled about this "collapse" recognize the massive, even stupendous -devaluation- of the dollar wrapped up in ObamaCare?
Use your brains.
This hideous -thing- just added trillions to the pile of cash being printed everywhere else in this economy.
ObamaCare makes Helicopter Ben and TaxCheat Tim look like a couple of old skinflints.
Yep, I'm afraid I'd have to jump on the need to see that poll bandwagon. Most people are still so completely ignorant as to what's going on in the world. They seem to be stuck in that same old stupid game of dems v reps. And none seem to believe that our economy could ever collapse. Don't you know the treasuries have magic fairy dust on it which keeps it from having to follow the rules all other countries follow? We are one stupid country.
ReplyDeleteVOTE THEM ALL OUT!!!!!
