You Know Things Are Bad When . . .

CNBC runs a front-page article entitled:

"What the Pros Say: US Is Now 'Bankrupt' "

  1. Didn't Cramer say yesterday no Great Depression II and now CNBC says were Kaput. You and I both know that we are already in the big D but it must be worse than even we think if they are going public with it. The drums they were beating for "Everything is wonderful" must have finally broken.

  2. Perhaps CNBC is recoiling from the light brought on by the Stewart Effect and is moving from endless Bubblevision to pointing out the bloody obvious?

Either way I don't mind seeing it.

By the way, I'm looking for a way to email Geo.Washington, I added your link to my blogroll. I'll refrain from spamming my link here so you can email me if you want to check out my stuff.

→ Thank you for contributing to the conversation by commenting. We try to read all of the comments (but don't always have the time).

→ If you write a long comment, please use paragraph breaks. Otherwise, no one will read it. Many people still won't read it, so shorter is usually better (but it's your choice).

→ The following types of comments will be deleted if we happen to see them:

-- Comments that criticize any class of people as a whole, especially when based on an attribute they don't have control over

-- Comments that explicitly call for violence
